Your bad attitude is getting in the way of what is good for you
My least favorite universally known fact is “ Fried food causes cancer.” I write this as I gladly
devour sweet potato waffle fries. By your mid-twenties, you should know the basics of
maintaining a healthy body, yet we still don't do it. Why doesn’t awareness equal action in
wellness, and how does attitude bridge that gap? I don't know, I'm still trying to figure it out.
What I do know as a wellness marketer is that the 4 Ps of marketing, Product, Promotion, Place,
and Price, play a significant role in shaping those attitudes. Product: When consumers trust your
wellness product, they are more willing to try it and more likely to make it part of their daily
lives. Promotion: I think consumers who feel they fully understand the promoted product are
more likely to adopt new wellness practices. Place: Your Place/placement is essential because, at
the end of the day, you are selling a lifestyle, and you have to make wellness solutions easy to
access to make your “product” habitual. Price: The price of your product is key because
consumers are more willing to commit when the price feels like a fair trade-off.
